The North West Conference

25-26th November 2007

There was a good turn out for the conference held this year at the De Vere Hotel in Blackpool and received very positive feed back from everyone who attended. The agenda included a presentation from Emma Hermon and Sarah Kelly from head office Business Support Team on how they are supporting the region; however the main focus for the weekend was on David Watt with Risk Assessment which proved to be very informative.

During the evening awards for recognition of hard work were presented by Brian Glicksman Honorary Treasurer for CSSC to Mike Wilson Regional Chairman, Pete James North West Executive committee and 11- a-side football organiser, Dot Hawkins Merseyside Chair Person and North West committee, Nick Hume Cross Country and Road Race organiser, Brenda Owen Ladies Golf organiser, Allan Grafton Darts organiser, Anne Wignall Chair person for Blackburn and Burnley. Congratulations to all.
