Ladies Golf Report 2007
On June 29th we held our qualifying competition at Childwall Golf Club for the National Finals. We again had 21 entries from a variety of offices and from 17 different golf clubs within the N.W regions.
The event was contested on a very good parkland course and was enjoyed by all of the players.
Due to changes made by H.Q for qualifiers we were fortunate to have 5 ladies representing the N.West region this year at Puckrup Hall Gold and Country Club in Tewksbury on 21st August 2007.

Best Gross: Hilary Craven (Customs and Excise) and a member of Bramhall Golf club
Best Net: Susan Howell (Retired) Member of Kendal Golf Club. Handicap 21
Order of Merit Qualifiers-
- Gross Karen West H/Cap 8 member of Fairhaven golf club
- Net: Barbara Whitfield H/Cap 21 member of Warrington Golf Club
- Dot Smith H/Cap 18 member of Lowes Park Golf Club

We continue to maintain good entries in our Regional Qualifying event and this year had the most entries overall of all other regions (well done ladies) keep it up as the more we have playing the better chance we have of having more of us qualifying under the Order of Merit rules for next years Nationals.
I now have a golf course for our 2008 Qualifier and it will be played at Worsley Golf Club. Monton Eccles on Friday 27th June 2008.
Entry Forms will be sent out before Christmas.
